Break the Ice: References & Related Reading

$0.00

Free, downloadable PDF of the “References & Related Reading” section in Break the Ice: A Heartwarming Hockey Romance.

Whether you've only read one chapter or finished the entire book, you've likely noticed that Jes Tongio’s novel is more than just a hockey romance. Break the Ice is also a self-help book.

To help characters (and readers) navigate the ups and downs of life, the book explores themes of personal development, conflict resolution, and effective communication. It's information the author has gathered from over a decade of research on various psychotherapy disciplines, life coaching courses, and mindfulness teachings. Additionally, much of the novel is based on the author’s real-life experiences and how she’s grown from what she once perceived as successes and failures.

Personal development is clearly one of my favourite topics to read and write about. You can find a bibliography of my sources under the "References & Related Reading" section at the back of the Break the Ice book. Alternatively, you can download that same list here as a PDF.
